The Greater Houston Partnership has been instrumental in creating a number of alliances that help advocate the organization's public policy agenda.
Public Policy alliances include:
- The Alliance for I-69 Texas - Dedicated to building this major highway from Mexico to Canda and increasing Texas' trade and economic development
- Gulf Coast Regional Mobility Partners - Charged with advocating solutions for the region's transportation and mobility challenges
- The Quality of Life Coalition - Dedicated to advocating public policy that enhances the region's quality of place to help Housotn attract a top-quality workforce
- World Energy Cities Partnership - Serving as an international trade partner, the WECP is a group of 12 international cities that are leaders in the energy field; Houston is home to the World Energy Cities Secretariat
- Center for Houston's Future - Responsible for seeking long-term solutions to keeping the Houston region a top locale to live, work, learn and play .
