In November 2007, Governor Rick Perry appointed Dr. Bryan Shaw to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Commissioner Shaw is an associate professor in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. The commissioner also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Agricultural Air Quality Engineering and Science, and formerly served as Acting Lead Scientist for Air Quality and Special Assistant to the Chief of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources.
Commissioner Shaw will be visiting our region to speak about environmental issues of concern to Greater Houston Partnership Members. Please join the Partnership as we welcome the commissioner.
