Willie J. Alexander is a former chairman of the Member Services Advisory Committee.

He heads a full-service employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage firm. Since establishing the firm in 1980, the company has grown its client list to include multi-state and international employers of all sizes in diverse industries.

Alexander is a former defensive back for the Houston Oilers and is a chartered life underwriter (CLU). He is a licensed agent for Group I insurance and health maintenance organizations, a licensed life and health insurance counselor and a registered representative of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

He is an active participant in industry, business and civic associations. Alexander received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Alcorn State University.
