Roland Garcia is a Shareholder and a member of the Management Group of the Houston office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Mr. Garcia is a civil trial and appellate lawyer. He has tried lawsuits in state and federal trial courts and has argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts.

Garcia was the first minority to be elected as president of the Houston Bar Association. He was also elected president of the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Mr. Garcia was president of the Hispanic Bar Association and president of the Dispute Resolution Center. He was an elected director of the State Bar of Texas and was a trustee of the Texas Bar Foundation.

He was appointed by the Houston City Council and Mayor as a Board Member of the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Memorial Hermann Continuing Care Corp. and the Harris County Hospital District Foundation.

He has received numerous honors, including the Cadillac Texas Legends Award, NAACP ALEX Award and awards from the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Garcia received his BBA from Baylor University with Honors and his JD from South Texas College of Law.
