Gulf Coast Regional Mobility Partners
The Gulf Coast Regional Mobility Partners' purpose is to educate and advocate for additional transportation investments in the Greater Houston region.

Increase state and federal transportation funding to the eight-county Houston-Galveston region.

Objectives
- Speak with a single voice for region
- Generate maximum transportation dollars from federal, state and local sources
- Work for greater share of state funding through the Houston region
- Work through TUTA (Texas Urban Transportation Alliance) to stop diversions
of transportation funds in Austin and increase funding to the state's
urban areas
Ensure that Texas Metropolitan Mobility Plan (TMMP) moves forward and is funded - Continue to advance freight rail improvements in the region
- Promote regional Issues, projects and priorities in Austin and Washington
Vision
Improve the Houston-Galveston region's transportation system by lobbying for the funding required to adequately address growing congestion and mobility concerns within the region.
The Gulf Coast Regional Mobility Partners will serve as one voice for regional transportation improvement and will advocate funding for the region.
Membership
The Gulf Coast Regional Mobility Partners is a region-wide coalition of community and business interests, transportation providers and elected officials assembled for the sole purpose of advocating the need for additional transportation funding for mobility improvements to the Houston-Galveston region.
