Harris County Flood Control Bond Election to be held August 25.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and other recent storms that have prompted flooding in the region, the Harris County Flood Control District has identified projects that can help mitigate flooding in the future. The Harris County Commissioners Court has called a bond election for August 25 to approve up to $2.5 billion in bonds to help realize these projects and make the area more resilient.
