Lt. Governor Dewhurst spoke to members of the Greater Houston Partnership Tuesday, June 26th to give his assessment of the 80th legislative session. His address highlighted issues such as property tax relief, clean air funding for the Texas Emissions Reduction Program (TERP) and Low Income Repair Assistance Program (LIRAP), state and local parks funding, tort reform, water management and conservation, CHIP, and cancer research.
