The Greater Houston Partnership offers hundreds of networking opportunities each year. From organized meetings to unstructured networking events, you’ll be able to link up with your peers and grow your business success.

Here’s just some of the opportunities we offer.

Business Development Workshops

These seminars offer Houston’s business development professionals and opportunity to address current topics in business growth. They are designed by Partnership members and feature either keynote speakers or panel discussions.

CEO Roundtables

The sessions, held throughout the year, are designed to serve as a peer group board of advisors for your business. As the name suggests, each seminar invites CEOs or the top decision maker in a company to attend and provide insight and feedback regarding business issues.

Corporate Connections

Event put on by EBC that sets up large company reps with small biz; sets them up to do biz with contractors and service providers. Each small business is pre-selected depending on the needs of the larger company.

Exporters Workshop Series

Held once each quarter, each seminar focuses on a different export topic, and offers international businesses the opportunity to learn more about the trends and currents happening in the global marketplace. One seminar might concentrate on transportation trends in exporting; another might look at new exporting opportunities with a particular country. This seminar series is a chance for Partnership members and nonmembers to network and improve their expertise. It is open to companies doing business internationally or looking to expand globally.

Horizons

This annual public works seminar is a half-day session featuring panel discussions and a luncheon keynote address. Seminar highlights include talk about Houston’s infrastructure, transportation and other public works initiatives. The event is an excellent networking opportunity for regional stakeholders and contractors providing building and networking services.

Import / Export Seminars

The Greater Houston Partnership's Import/Export seminars are held annually. These two half-day seminars are designed to offer a preview of the entire import/export process and how customs and export procedures work. The program will benefit businesses involved in international trade, or those that are exploring doing business in the global marketplace.

International Policy Speaker Series

Held quarterly at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch, these presentations focus on topics such as outsourcing, U.S./China trade relations, free trade agreements and political challenges to the market model in Latin America.. Attendance is limited to 100 participants. Speakers are nationally known authorities on these topics.

Public Policy Educational Forums

Held throughout the year, these forums focus on issues of importance throughout the region, including quality of place, health care, taxation and education. Each event hosts a featured speaker or panel discussion on a single topic. Examples of these events include the Quality of Life Breakfast and the Health Care Advisory Committee Luncheon.

Super Summit

Hosted by the Partnership’s Emerging Business Council, this annual event is designed to help emerging businesses learn how to work more collaborative with established businesses. And excellent opportunity for learning and networking, this summit is one of the Partnership’s most popular events.
