Attendees will tour: Greentown Labs: Greentown Labs is the largest climatech startup incubator in North America, committed to solving the climate crisis through entrepreneurship and collaboration. Greentown Labs aims to be leading hub where early-stage startups with a shared goal of a sustainable, renewable future grow their businesses.  The Ion: The Ion is a nearly 300,000-square-foot structure that fosters a community and culture where corporate innovators, academic partners, community partners, startups, and entrepreneurs come together to solve some of the world’s greatest problems. The Ion serves as a home to academic and corporate R&D centers as well as startup accelerators, labs, and co-working space.  This reception is exclusive to current Partnership members.  Houston has long been recognized as the Energy Capital of the World. To maintain that standing and realize sustained economic growth, the region must play a lead role in driving the global energy transition to a low-carbon future. In its second year, the Future of Global Energy Conference Presented by Chevron showcases how the Partnership's Houston Energy Transition Initiative and Center for Houston's Future are convening leaders across industry, academia and policy to realize solutions to achieve a sustainable energy future.  All Future of Global Energy events require separate event tickets. Day one of the Future of Global Energy Conference Presented by Chevron begins offers a special tour and reception in the heart of Houston's innovation district highlighting some of the key venues that are propelling energy transition forward here in Houston. Attendees will tour:
