The next edition of the Bayou City Bio Pulse will be taking place at Levit Green on Wednesday, November 15 from 4 - 6 p.m. This event will give us an overview of the development, their long-term plan and the impact of state-of-the-art facilities on the Houston life sciences ecosystem. This event is in collaboration with BioHouston, Hines and the Life Sciences Committee at the Greater Houston Partnership. Stan Watowich, PhD, from Ridgeline Therapeutics and Dr. Yingmin Zhu from Sino Biological will be kicking off the event. Dr. Watowich is an inventor of Ridgeline Therapeutics' technology, upon which he founded the company. He serves as the company's CEO to help with the launch and capitalization of the company. Additionally, he is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Medical Branch and recent director of the University of Texas (UT) System's state-wide entrepreneurship program developed in partnership with UT McCombs School of Business. Dr. Yingmin Zhu is a prominent figure in biotechnology, celebrated for his innovations in bioprocessing solutions. He currently leads the Center for Bioprocessing at Sino Biological US Inc. in Houston, Texas, where he spearheads the development of groundbreaking bioprocessing strategies. With a background that includes serving as an Assistant Professor and Protein/Mab core lab Director at Baylor College of Medicine and conducting research at The University of UTHealth at Houston, Yingmin Zhu brings over a decade of experience to his role. His exceptional contributions to the field have positioned him as a leader who continues to shape the future of biotechnology.
