COVID-19 has revealed deadly shortages of essential products due to 90 to 95% dependence on imports, especially from China. Similar dependence is true in many key industry sectors including defense. It has never been more evident that offshoring components can carry a great deal of cost and risk and it is now clear that shorter supply chains are stronger, more competitive supply chains. Dr. Sanju Patro, Director of TMAC Gulf Coast, BeehiveFund and Harry Moser, President, Reshoring Initiative will discuss how businesses can benefit economically from reshoring, evaluating products prime for reshoring and how to find and sell to new customers looking for new product supply chains. Through this webinar, we will demonstrate that shorter supply chains are also more profitable for OEM for 20 to 40% of products. Tools will be presented to help you benefit from these changes. Tools to make better sourcing decisions and to convince your customers to buy from you instead of offshore.  Primary Topics: Why manufacturing more products in the US really can be the best economic decision for your company. What factors contribute to your product’s TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). How to pick products to reshore. How to find and sell to new customers who import what you produce. Register for part two of this special presentation here.  *Utilizing a Zoom account and logging in through your computer is highly recommended for the best viewing experience.
