Greater Houston Partnership welcomes the Co-Founders of Moonshot Compost, Chris Wood and Joe Villa. The two lifelong Texans and brothers-in-law shared a desire to improve Houston’s binary trash-or-recycling waste management program by diverting excess food from landfills and returning the nutrients back to the soil in our community. They recognize that the easier it is to compost, the more likely people are to try it and the more people compost, the more small environmental gains begin to become significant. Join us to hear how Moonshot Compost's newest technology is used to measure your composting progress and understand your impact is rallying communities and organizations to transform how our society thinks about excess food–to see it not as trash but as a resource.    Partnership Tower 701 Avenida de las Americas Suite 900 , Houston, TX, 77010 Houston.org ghp@houston.org America/Chicago public
