Greater Houston Partnership Launches Revamped Website

Published Mar 14, 2019 by A.J. Mistretta

HOUSTON (March 14, 2019) — The Greater Houston Partnership recently launched a new website that aims to promote the Houston region as a great place to live, work and build a business. The site also serves as a platform for the organization’s 1,100 member companies, which employ nearly one-fifth of the region’s workforce.

The completely revamped Houston.org is a gateway for insight into the primary industries, economic landscape and international ties of the Houston region. The site also offers detailed information about key economic indicators and other data, upcoming programs and events produced by the Partnership and important business news. It’s also a portal for Partnership members, providing them with additional information and resources.

“We are thrilled to debut our new website to our members, corporate relocation prospects, members of the media and other visitors,” said Clint Pasche, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Partnership. “This organization serves a variety of audiences and we needed a website that spoke to those diverse constituencies—from companies looking to expand or relocate in the region to those members wanting to better understand the trajectory of our local economy. We spent more than a year developing this site to ensure it worked well for everyone, and we’re proud of the finished product.”

The Partnership contracted with Houston-based strategic development firm Poetic to design and build the new Houston.org. The company is also responsible for developing GHPHYPE.org, the website for the Partnership’s Houston Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs program.

“As proud Houstonians, we are honored to work alongside the Partnership in order to showcase the best of our city,” said Adrian Samaniego, Senior Project Manager for Poetic. “We are excited that the Partnership’s forward-looking focus enabled us to create a technology platform that is built to grow with both the Partnership and Houston.”

From public policy to research, the Partnership is a trusted resource for the business community, media and others looking for accurate and timely information. Below are several major sections of the site and what they provide:
