HOUSTON – Just five months after launching a new Houston.org, the Greater Houston Partnership took home a Crystal Award for “Most Improved Website” from the American Marketing Association’s Houston chapter.
The win was announced during AMA Houston's gala in May. More than 100 applications were submitted for the Crystal Awards this year.
The Partnership began the process of creating a new website in early 2018 in partnership with the development team at Poetic. The project team worked across the organization to ensure all elements of the Partnership's varied efforts – from economic development to membership – were well presented. The site officially launched in early January of this year.
Traffic to the new site is up more than 60% this year compared with 2018. The site has also helped contribute to increases in new members and other organizational goals.
The content team continues to work with Poetic on ongoing improvements to Houston.org.
