Isaac Johnson was named TDECU’s President and CEO in April 2021. He previously served as SVP, Chief Administrative, Legal and Diversity Officer, and has held leadership roles at USAA, Wells Fargo, and Trustmark National Bank.

Isaac proudly serves as a two-star Major General in the United States Army Reserve. He commands the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne). He is a decorated leader earning the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Merit Cheonsu Medal from the President of the Republic of Korea’s Order of National Security.

He holds multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, a Master of Business Administration from Jackson State University, a Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and a Master of Strategic Studies at U.S. Army War College. He also completed executive programs at Cornell University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
