LaTanya Flix is Senior Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston region’s principal business organization. She oversees the design and implementation of internal DEI strategy and leads One Houston Together — the Partnership’s external commitment to reduce inequities throughout the Houston region.
LaTanya has a record of success leading enterprise level change, improving outcomes for underrepresented individuals, and launching cross-sector partnerships that advance equity. She most recently led CauseAdvance, a social change advisory practice that offers customized strategy, equity, organizational development, and philanthropy services to clients in Houston and across the U.S.
Prior to CauseAdvance, LaTanya served in executive roles at the Greater Houston Community Foundation and The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston and consulted for prominent organizations.
LaTanya earned a BA in sociology from Trinity University and a MPA from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. She completed the Public Policy & International Affairs fellowship institute at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
She is a native Houstonian and fifth generation Texan and enjoys travel, live music, and well-aged tequila.
