Board of Directors

Robert Mosbacher, Jr., is a past chairman of the Partnership’s Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. He is a former chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee and the Education and Workforce Advisory Committee. He currently serves as chairman of the Nominating Committee and Health Care Advisory Committee.

Mosbacher, Jr. is the president of Mosbacher Energy Company, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company that has been in business for more than 50 years.

Mosbacher, Jr. serves as a director of Devon Energy and Chase Bank, Houston. He is also a director of The Methodist Hospital and of the Salvation Army. He is founder and co-chairman of Rebuilding Together Houston. He also serves on the boards of the Greater Houston Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, Center for Houston’s Future, Trust for an Early Education and the Society for the Performing Arts. He serves as a trustee of the South Texas College of Law and chairman of PreSchool for All.

Mosbacher received his law degree from Southern Methodist University and his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
