Sujay Tyle is a serial entrepreneur specializing in emerging markets. He is the co-founder and CEO of Merama based in Houston, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo, and last valued at $1.3B. Merama has built and scaled some of the largest brands in Latin America, including Growth Supplements – the largest sports nutrition company in Latin America. Merama has raised $350M in equity from leading global investors like Advent International and the Softbank Group. Sujay is also a prolific angel investor with >35 investments.
Previously, Sujay was the Co-founder and Global CEO of Frontier Car Group (FCG) – a used cars automotive marketplace operating in emerging markets – which he began when he was just 23 years old. FCG was acquired by OLX/Naspers in December 2019 for ~$700M in an all-cash deal.
Sujay was one of the first Thiel 20 under 20 fellows and was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list. He was named to Goldman Sachs’ Top 100 Intriguing Entrepreneurs List in 2013, 2018, 2019, and 2025. Sujay graduated from Harvard College, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Business School.
