In recognizing Labor Day, the Partnership’s UpSkill Houston initiative is honoring the important contributions workers make to the Houston region’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. Please join us on September 8 for the conclusion of our two-part Labor Day UpSkill Works Forum series focused on how the pandemic has impacted our region’s workers and how we can smooth the way for our neighbors who are striving to back on their feet.

This session will feature a discussion with business leaders about strategies and approaches employers and the region can use to support a more inclusive economic and workforce recovery. This forum will include a roundtable discussion of how employers are working with community and education partners to develop a skilled talent pool for job openings today and help Houstonians get back on track.
