Senior Vice President, Inclusive Leadership and Opportunity
LaTanya Flix is Senior Vice President of Inclusive Leadership and Opportunity, where she leads the Houston region’s first business-led initiative focused on helping 100+ organizations build inclusive workplaces and expand access for small businesses.
Working at the intersection of culture, capital, and community impact, LaTanya convenes regional leaders to share insights and solutions that improve outcomes.
A certified systems coach, LaTanya is known for integrating systems thinking with her unique experience across business, nonprofits, and philanthropy to navigate complexity and translate strategy into action.
Prior to her current role, LaTanya founded a social change advisory practice and held senior leadership positions with Greater Houston Community Foundation, The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston, and City Year San Antonio, where she built cross-sector partnerships, advised organizational leaders, led programming to connect donors to community needs and guide more strategic giving, and advanced initiatives that expanded economic opportunity.
Whether advising, convening, or shaping change, LaTanya partners with leaders and stakeholders to create the conditions where inclusion is lived — not just stated — and impact is shared.
Her leadership has been recognized by HR Daily Advisor, Deloitte’s The Exchange, Houston Business Journal, the National Women’s Conference, and the FDIC. She serves on the Eight Million Stories Advisory Board and previously served on the National Work Equity Advisory Council.
LaTanya holds a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University.
