Diane Tennenhouse

Associate Vice President, Site Head, Lilly Houston, Eli Lilly

Diane Tennenhouse is a native of Indiana and a graduate of Purdue University, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering in 2000 and an MBA from the Krannert School of Business in 2011.

Diane has spent 24 years with Eli Lilly and Company. She began her career at a small molecule API manufacturing site, holding roles in Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma continuous improvement, and Operations. She went on to hold successive leadership roles at several Lilly manufacturing sites, including an oral solid dose facility in Indianapolis, an insulin and peptide API site in Indianapolis, and a small molecule, peptide, and monoclonal antibody API site in Ireland. She has also held corporate roles in Manufacturing
Strategy and led the Engineering Tech Center, a team of engineering experts supporting Lilly’s global network of API and Dry Products sites.

Diane currently serves as Site Head of a new greenfield API manufacturing site in Houston, Texas, where she is responsible for building the leadership team, operational staff, and business systems needed to start up the site upon completion of construction.
